In the summer of 2024, a client reached out to us with what seemed like an “unresolvable” backyard flooding issue. After years of battling with the city, consulting various contractors, and receiving conflicting advice, they were at their wit's end. Through a recommendation from the city's DPW head—who had heard about our work from another city DPW director—we were connected with the client.

Following our initial meeting, we collaborated with the City Manager, DPW Director, and the client to devise a comprehensive plan. The goal was to transform a once-flooded backyard into a functional space that included a shed and an outdoor living area. After installing nearly 300 feet of drainage pipe, multiple EZ-flows, catch basins, and a powerful pump, we successfully eliminated the waterlogging, creating a dry, usable space not only for this backyard but for the neighbor's as well.
