In the summer of 2023, a client reached out to us about his new Beverly Hills home, which had unexpectedly transformed into a waterfront property. He was eager to reclaim his front yard. After several meetings with Landmark Engineering, the DPW Director, and the neighbors, we devised a comprehensive plan to elevate the front yard and restore its original functionality.
The solution involved bringing in nearly 300 cubic yards of soil, installing 38,000 square feet of sod, 200 feet of 18” CMP, six 24” catch basins, and a few truckloads of concrete. After just 10 days of construction, we successfully turned what was once a lakefront property into a home perched atop a hill, with water now properly draining into the original watershed nearly 300 feet away.
